Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Patel is a compassionate and highly skilled licensed Therapeutic Optometrist who is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal visual health. Dr. Patel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her patients, having spent 16 years in the field, including 13 years serving the community in Orlando. Her lifelong passion has been to create an eyecare experience like no other. Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, Dr. Patel was raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa with honors, earning a Bachelor of Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. Dr. Patel continued her education at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, where she graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Vision Science and a Doctorate of Optometry. During her time there, Dr. Patel completed an internship with honors in family practice at Atlantic Avenue Eye Care in Delray, Florida, and at Tianjin Medical University Eye Clinic in Tianjin, China. Dr. Patel is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati and is also able to provide exams in Spanish, which allows her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. She is also passionate about giving back to the community and has participated in One Sight missions in Ecuador and providing vision screenings to her church in Orlando.

Dr. Patel believes in delivering personalized, patient-centered care that considers each individual's unique needs and goals. She uses the latest technology and evidence-based practices to ensure the highest level of clinical excellence, and she is dedicated to educating and empowering her patients to take an active role in their eye health. Dr. Patel's warm, empathetic, and approachable manner creates a positive and relaxed environment for her patients, while her focus on ethical and professional standards ensures that they receive the highest quality care.

Dr. Patel has worked in various clinical settings throughout her career and is now proud to serve her community in her private practice located in the heart of O-Town West/Dr. Phillips/Lake Buena Vista. In addition to practicing optometry, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her two energetic daughters and loving husband. She loves to travel and considers herself a culinary adventurer.
